Beach Lake Sled Dog Trails
Over the decades, volunteers from CDMA created and maintained over 16 miles of dedicated sled dog trails within the park. The trails provide an excellent range of training and racing opportunities, winding through birch forests, spruce bogs, open meadows, and lakes. The Beach Lake Sled Dog Trails are essential to the sport of dog mushing in southcentral Alaska.
All CDMA dryland classes use the 2-mile trail.
